One really dumb question What does "Constructed" mean? I see tournaments that are listed as "unrestricted" and "constructed"..........ugh i'm such a N00b sometimes..

Constructed means figures from the unretired, tournament-legal sets.

For Marvel, this means Universe and Ultimates through Armor Wars.

For DC, this means everything but Hypertime.

For Indy, this means only the City Of Heroes/City Of Villians figures.

Cool beans man , i thought that it might be that but i just wanted to hear it from someone else.

The current categories for 'default' Wizkid-Supported events are, iirc

• Contstructed: Players build a team of unretired figures to play with
• Unrestricted: Players build a team of any figures to play with
• Sealed: Players will buy product at the venue, and build teams from the product that was purchased.

Once upon a time, the default events would restrict the use of figures from one comic universe from appearing in certain events, but this is no longer the case.

Keep in mind that this is just the 'default' choices offered by the event scheduling templates. The Venue and/or Judge may make adjustments to the event after they have been scheduled.

You should also be aware, that venues/judges have the option to impliment house rules, and simple ones are usually in the event description. For example, a common house rule is that retired figures may be used in all constructed events.

There are a few restrictions regarding house rules (namely, 'no house rules' at Marquee Events), but even this may be changed under extraordinary circumstances. For example, if a venue cannot get the new product for a Marquee, the players may have to use older product.
