Let's say Universe starter Spidey pounces V Supes and uses the light pole. Supes has no tokens at the time, but he does have protected. If Spidey hits, and Supes uses his protected, does Supes take one token for using protected and one for the incap from the light pole? Or does he just take the one from using protected.
I would say that he takes 2 action tokens. For the same reason that if someone is hit by a stunning blow attack and roles 5 or 6 for Impervious, they will still get the action token. That is just the way I see it.
My question is what if supes had a token at the time, would the protected take effect before the effects of the lampost? Or for that matter if lets say Red Robin hits Norman Osborn with stunning blow and Norman already has a token w/protected, which would take effect first the incap or the use of protected since stunning blow deals damage?
Please correct me if I am wrong but I think that if Superman had no tokens and was hit by the lightpole and used protected he would take no damage from the attack, take a token from protected, take another token from the lightpost and 1 click from pushing. Or maybe he would take a token from the light pole first, then a second from using protected and still take a click from pushing.
If he already had a token, it would depend if he took a token from the lightpost first cause if he did he would have 2 and then be unable to use protected.
So which happens first? The token from the light post? I would think so because I think the damage and the token happens at the same time and if you used protected before you were dealt damage then it would be gone and the damage would not be prevented.
And the answer was that Protected does get the option of being used because Damage is being dealt.
So in that case Stunning Blow is kinda a waste except to draw the other player into using up the Feat. Either way there would be Pushing Damage.
