Hey all,

If I am dealt damage to the Red Skull and he uses Mastermind to put that damage onto a Hydra Dreadnought with Protected...

Can the Dreadnought use the Protected Feat and only take a token ?

I was not sure what the parameters of "as a result of an action" and how it applies to the masterminded stuff.

I guess the question then becomes, "when did he tell you that?" If your discussion with Karl was more recent than this thread, perhaps the situation has changed. But based on my discussion, I was under the impression that Protected could not be used by Mastermind fodder.

And now that I have gone back and re-read my post, I see that the confusion was coming from your post, tenketsu.

Apparently, Karl did change the ruling from what he told you to a negative answer.

This was back in late November, so yeah, your's is definitely after mine, heh. Well, that's good to know, because I've almost used that combo several times lately--guess it's a good thing I haven't actually gone through with bringing out Doom.
