Hi there, I was just curious about using feats. If I only have one copy of Armor Piercing, can I use it on two characters at a tournament? What's the official ruling on using a feat on multiple characters? Can it be done? Is it legal?

Unless it is a feat that specifically targets more than 1 character (ICWO for example) you may only use a feat card on a single character.

AP, for example, can only be used on one character per copy of the card.



That's the official rule anyway. I do know that some people allow you to use a feat on more than one character, but that falls under 'house rules'.

It depends on your venue. At the strictest letter of the law, you should have one Feat card for each figure you are playing it on. (Three figures with Armor Piercing, three copies of the cards. It is a collectible game, after all.)

Not all venues do this, though, so the best thing to do is ask the judge at your venue whether or not you can "proxy" -- use one card as a stand-in for multiple cards.

I actually had a judge who allowed you not even to have the card at all.

The reason was that someone probably had a card to lend you anyway so why bother.

In most cases someone would dig up a card for the person.

If this was a place you were going to play and didn't know the judge/scene then you need a different Armor piercing card for each character.

I have 3 or 4 AP cards just for that purpose. Most cards I just have one.

I would hope that a venue requires you to have at least one REAL copy of the card, even if they alloweed multiple applications
