I received my Parallax, Anthony Stark LE and my Dark Phoenix in the mail yesterday. I've just re-read the Dark Phoenix rules like 5 times and I am confused.
Specifically I am confused about whether DP takes pushing or does not take pushing damage. On the front side one at the bottom left hand corner of the rules sheet it says:
"Dark Phoenix may be given only one turn per action. Dark Phoenix may be pushed each turn; it will continue to be dealt pushing damage. If Dark Phoenix's controller does not give DP an action on his or her turn, that player removes all action tokens from DP at the end of that turn."
On the back side in the bottom right corner the rules seemingly contradict the front side. They restate the Power Cosmic TA:
"THE POWER COSMIC TEAM ABILITY: Members of this team do not take pushing damage and their powers cannot be countered. This team ability cannot be copied by wild card team abilities."
It seems like the only logical interpretation of the apparent contradiction is that TAs supersede rules. In other words you don't have to take pushing damage but you can. Its unlikely to be a big advantage but you might want to take push damage to advance DP to a more potent slot on her dial.
1) Is the interpretation above correct?
2) Is there anything else I should know about DP, Power Cosmic and pushing?
3) Why would WIZKIDs allow such a confusing official document?
4) Why doesn't WIZKIDS play test better or proof read better? Underpowered Parallax, two sets of hookers, mistake laden PACs, severely underpriced Lockjaw, and contradictory rule sheets should be eliminated before mass production
Basically, the logic falls this way: Everytime she pushes, she is dealt pushing damage which is prevented by her TA. However, she could, as you stated, cancel her TA to take the pushing damage. Another example is if the Disbanded BFC is played.

Big Figure Dark Phoenix Corrections
• Replace the first sentence of the first paragraph under Special Rules with: “Dark Phoenix ignores the Exploit
Weakness, Force Blast, Incapacitate, Mind Control, Plasticity, Poison, Psychic Blast, Shape Change, Steal
Energy, and Support powers, as well as team abilities that duplicate these powers.”
• Replace the second sentence under Actions and Pushing with “Dark Phoenix may be pushed each turn; it will
not be dealt pushing damage while the Power Cosmic team ability is active.”
*emphasis added
Also you can only ever have 2 tokens on a fig so she will always have 2 tokens unless you clear her for some reason. Since she can continue to be pushed every turn (this is because she is a big fig and not because of her power cosmic TA) I don't know why you wouldn't use her every turn. And shellhead cannot be assigned to big figs.

3) Why would WIZKIDs allow such a confusing official document?
and since she is a big figure. sha can make two attacks per actions. so she can tatget 6 targets a turn.
Actually, she can't target 6 targets. The multi-attack rules specifically say "up to two targets". Galactus and his Cosmic Multi-Attack is the only Big Figure that can attack more than two targets with a multi-attack; all the rest are limited to two (and yes, that includes Spectre. Check his multi-attack rules, if you like).
In other words, if DP wants to use all three of her targets, she has to perform a regular ranged combat action, not a multi-attack.
Dark Pheonix can multi attack and target 2 figs with each attack. That's 4 figs targeted total. Here's the link to the thread on the WizKids rules forum that explains it.

Yes, that's what I meant. I guess I just didn't say it exactly the same way
I thought that that was what you meant normalview, I just wanted to clear up any confusion. I know I was confused when I first played DP. That's why I posted and was corrected on that thread I linked to.
The wording on the rules is confusing which is why we have these threads.
