Whats a good Ta to use this card with .... Im going to guess that I cant use this on someone with no TA. Ya I know the card is pricey at 20 points but Im looking to try out different strategies in the coming months.

(2) Johnny Alpha (he tends to enter battle later, and his 2000AD is not the greatest for opponents to mimic)
(3) SHIELD Medics.
(4) Any Fantastic Four member (since opponents cannot copy feats, they get stuck with the old F4)
I've found that It's really only best against WC flip-floppers...you know, the ones who favor Pouncing Spidey, Taskmaster and Wildfire....It's great to take away their Mystic/Stealth/aF4 defense.
It's also handy for crippling WC swarms that rely on Brotherhood free moves.
But my favorite piece is also the most fun. Actually it's now a couple of pieces. Outsider figs. These guys rock when you don't incorporate perplex into your team. Now they can say "I Outsider your Katana" where I reply that I have no modifiers to add to my values. ha ha just plain mean and funny at times.

Except that Katana has both Close Combat Expert and Combat Reflexes, both of which (when Danger Room comes out) modify stats and would be rendered useless by getting Outsidered.

Hypersonic Speed Option 2 (offensively or defensively)

I've been playing this feat a TON in the past months to school the local players who are dependent on wildcards.
Most effective Saboteur canidates:
Rookie Lady Shiva- Stealth, Super Senses, 4 range and Bat Enemy TA= 40 points total (can also serve as a decent late game clean up with Close Combat Expert)
Experienced Speedy- Stealth, 8 range, 9AV, Ranged combat expert, Titans TA= 55 points total (a decent early game secondary attacker, with Leap/Climb late dial to get her away if you still need Saboteur in effect)
Seargent Rock/ LE Frank Rock- Adds a reasonable Leadership to your team and proves difficult to KO with the Mastermind... as long as you keep a good taxi/fodder nearby. range on all versions and Police TA= 48-60 points total
Rookie Abby Chase- Stealth, Super Senses, Outwit, 6 range and Danger Girl TA. =59 points total
Rookie Shi- Stealth, Blades, Super Senses, 6 range and Crusade TA (honestly, I've seen it used mabe twice more then I'd ever seen the old Masters of Evil TA used)= 50 points total
Most of these I'm comfortable using in a 400 point format. Lady Shiva and Speedy I migh try in 300 only due to their usefulness. In larger formats you want to look for near-useless TA's (X-Men, Titans, PD, 2000AD, etc) on figures that will be very difficult to attack, and KO.
If you're simply looking to screw your opponent's team and don't care if your Saboteur can attack as well, any of the rookie Hand Ninjas are pesky due to their Stealth.
Rookie Hand ninja- stealth, Hydra TA= 31 points total
Rookie Ranged Ninja- Stealth, Hydra TA, 6 range= 34 points total
I get a little uncomfortable when the cost of the feat exceeds the character cost, but that's just a personal opinion. I could see the ninjas being quite effective with Saboteur.
My favorite piece to use is Barbara Minerva LE. She is a freakin sweet figure and they get stuck with the crappy IL TA. I always play her with V Darkseid against a wild card team. He carries her around and if cornered they together can take out just about any figure

I like playing it with a R Mandroid. Its an expensive card, but all together its only going to take up 48pts, and I don't mind if he becomes a target because I'll probably only need to use the piece once in the game.
