What powers can be used with hypersonis speed

Not a lot.

HSS option one grants a free close or ranged combat attack. HSS option 2 is a bunch of close combat attacks.

So, since you can only perform attacks, not actions (and yes, there is a big difference), that only leaves you with Super Strength and Steal Energy. And there has not yet been a character released with HSS and Steal Energy, so your are limited to HSS and Super Strength. Furthermore, you are limited to only close combat with Super Strength, as throwing an object is a ranged combat action, not an attack.

Thaks thats cleared up alot of questions, but it seems odd that most people with hypersonic speed have some kind of special power that requires a power action e.g count nefaria,Shazam and kc superman

It gives then options. You Outwit KC Supes' (or Nefaria's) HSS and then he'll smoke you with RCE, or Shazam will hit you with Exploit Weakness, etc.

While HSS is probably their most powerful weapon, it is not their only weapon.
