I was just wondering if when fighting spectre as a force can you perplex down his defense? It only says you can't increase his values with perplex so I'm guessing you can.

Perplexing down his defense would last until either he is damaged or the attackers turn ends, what ever comes first correct?

This way, if my first attack misses anyway, I didn't waste my perplexes on that one fig and my 2nd and 3rd string attackers can take advantage of Spectre's not so high defense.
