This guy is Jane Foster on steroids. Not only can he heal but he’s a pretty good offensively for a “medic” and he has other support powers like Perplex and Smoke Cloud.

Man trying to write up the JSA is hard! Forgot how many figures have the TA.

Anyway, Doc here is a fig I was waiting for for quite awhile. His appearances in early JSA issues were cool :) I was hoping he'd be more than the glorified medic we eventually got. I mean he IS a martial artist!

Well, doesn't mean he's not great heroclix though! Starting Willpower and starting support with a 9 starting attack? Need I say more?

Stealth really seals the deal, keeping him safe from attack and perplex is just gravy. And JSA TA helps him share his 16 defense for easier healing.

Last Word:Keep him back and heal as needed. most games, he shouldn't get off his first click or your opponent will make a special effort to KO him. Either way, you can use him to great effect!

Just a great overall figure. Nice AV, and can support your team as medic and perplexer. Stealth protects him, along with Smoke Cloud, and the Wp is icing on the cake!

What a great figure for 43 points! He's part of the JSA, he's a Willpower Medic, and he gets Perplex! What more could you ask for?

...oh, that's right. 4 range, Stealth and an end-dial AV boost. What's that you say? He has those already?

Finally a support piece that can defend himself! The E Dr. Mid-Nite is a very nice support piece who can heal or deal damage two turns in a row thanks to his willpower. A little perplex thrown in there to enhance his chances or someone elses of hitting an attack is just icing on the cake. The stealth all across the dial is very comic accurate also. Thanks

Best doc in the game at the moment, great piece to play, with an added keyword bonus (scientist) and nicely comic acurate to boot! Jezz, Doc Mid-Nite is awesome!

Flat out, one of the best medics in the game. The top dial willpower, 9AV & support combo with stealth and smoke cloud to hide in is crucial. Then he goes on holiday from being a medic for 2 clicks but you can't really complain too much as perplex is always a great thing; just don't plan on having him use it on himself as he'd likely have to turn off his stealth to do so.

All around fantastic support piece, one of few pieces that make good use of smoke cloud, and an essential scientist keyword piece.

Also, a fantastic sculpt with a superb amount of detail and a great paint job.

Remember a tourney when I ran him and Rookie Kang from Supernova. Through the entire tourney Dr Mid-Nite healed a total of 43 clix of life. 31 of that was in 1 game...my opponent was not pleased.

For less than the cost of two of his own rookie, you get this guy. You may only get one more click of life, but WOW does his usefulness skyrocket. Looking back, I had forgotten that his AV dips immediately on his Perplex clicks to then go back up when he gets Support again, meaning you should always, always, always have a use for this Mid-Nite until he's KOed. Defense value actually becomes a point in his favor compared to the Rookie because you can share it to who you're trying to heal or borrow better when you need to not get hit. I even like this one better than the Vet for similar reasons...the Vet gets better damage and the end-dial Willpower, but the E here can much more reliably land the Support. And while I like hybrid figures, if I'm bringing a literal Support figure it's because I want them to be using it.
