Not sure if this is really a "rules of combat" kind of question, but I'll try it anyway. How do you get a figure to share a square with a 3-D object? Since placing a figure on top of a Generator is obviously a tricky proposition, do you just replace the object with a token for the duration of the co-occupation?
Hey Psycho, that's a good question. We've just kind of shared the square, so characters are half-in and half-out with the object. If there are no other characters around, it's okay, but on a tight map, it's kind of confusing.
EDIT: For a very specific Tournament-Legal answer, I would bet that the 3d object has to always be on the board when it's being used, and the character and the 3d object probably have to share the square however they fit. Otherwise, someone might forget that it's a continual object or something.
One idea I thought of but haven't done yet, was to find a photo of the generator (or take one myself), shrink it, print it out, and glue it to a 2d token, so that it would be a lot easier to use, but everyone would still know what it was. The game would start with the 3d object, but be replaced by the 2d token when someone camped on it or picked it up.
You have the same idea, so I think it would work well. Heck, I guess we could just get a blank label and write Generator on it, then stick it on one of the other tokens as a very easy solution!

Theres the Generator pic but you'll want to downsize it a bit before you print it.
I guess you could kind of have the 3-D object leaning on the figures base or something too..it just seems to take up a lot opf space that way. Like you said, on a crowded map, it could get ridiculous quick.

Whoo hoo! Thanks for the photo psycho! Was that from the figure gallery, or somewhere else where I just didn't see it. It's a perfect studio shot! That photo is now saved for use in the very near future, like right now.
I wonder if there's anything in the FAQ or something about 3d objects and their placement in Tournament games. I'll go poke around maybe.

well I find the generator can actually be physically "straped" to figures who are carring it (using the loop thing). In the situation of people camping on the generater in close quarters then you can stand in half way on both the fig bases or lay it on the side
Brevard, that pic was part of one of the preview articles they put up on Danger Room in April or May. I remembered seeing it back then and tracked it down for ya.
I like the other ideas you guys have come up with..especially strapping the generator to the figure. The Broken Drone shouldn't be too hard to work around, so I think that solves my problem. Thanks, guys!
