Can you play (the Supernova Battlefield Condition) Loyalty and (the Armor Wars feat) Saboteur together?
Loyalty says "each wild card must choose a team ability that can be copied by wild cards and is possessed by a friendly character"
Saboteur says "Opposing figures with wild card team abilities may only copy the team ability of this character when copying team abilities."
Since my Saboteur isn't a friendly character and Loyalty states that the team ability chosen has to be "possessed by a freindly character", does that effectively cancel Saboteur unless you happen to slap that feat on a character of yours that has the same team ability as a character of your opponent's?
Do you apply Battlefield Conditions or Feats first?

I was going to say that feats pretty much only take effect once the game starts, but ATAs make that a dubious statement. Still, I would say there is a difference between assigning ATAs and them going into effect (during the game).
Sooo, based on that (and yes, I know Sabotuer is not officially an ATA)
I would rule the Loyalty BFC goes into effect when it is played during the set-up procedure, and then Sabotuer would kick-in once the game is in effect. The Loyalty TA still needs to be declared for when the Sabotuer is bull-dogged into clix heaven.
So you couldn't even force your opponent to switch to a team ability that he possesses should you happen to have Saboteur assigned to a figure that has the same team ability as a figure your opponent has as well?
For example, my opponent is playing wild card team ability figures with a Mystics figure, a Batman Allies figure, and a couple of Police figures. I have Saboteur assigned to a Police figure I'm playing. My opponent plays Loyalty (goes into effect first) and choses Mystics, then I play my Saboteur Police figure -- my opponent doesn't have to switch his wildcard ability to Police?

No, I think the WCs would have to copy Police until your Sabotuer character is KO'd (which is why your opponent still needs to declare the Loyalty TA).

Yeah, I agree with this. If you play Saboteur on a Rookie Destiny, it would trump the Loyalty TA until Destiny was KO'ed. At that point the Loyalty TA would kick in.
