ok being a completionist...i have only some purples left

that the bizzare Super Rares

so here are my questions:

1)The Super Rares only appear in the following expansions, yes or no?
Legacy
Mutant Mayhem
Fantastic Forces

2)and then only visible difference i think is that both on LEs have a gold ring with white letters and an SR has gold letters and a gold ring?

3)Is there a way to tell the difference between LEs and SRs in Fantastic Forces?

Unless you count the super rare zombies in Supernova, yes.
LEs have a bronze ring with white letters, whereas SRs have gold rings and gold letters.
Not that I know of.

answer to three- the only difference was that LEs came in their own box. Once out of the box there is no noticable difference.

Wasn't there something with the FF LEs where the ring didn't make a complete circle around the base for the SRs?

Or am I being delusional (again)?

I'v seen a few like that, I just assumed it was a bad stamp job. I'll have to check to see if all my Super rares are like that.

Yeah. Both LE's and SR's have the same screwed up ring paint job. So feel free to throw out all your FF boxes and call of them all Super-Rares!

I didn't think of that as a screw-up. To me it looked like a painted exaggeration of the shine that gold and silver should have (yes, some of the Us did it too). I liked it a lot, and wish it would make its triumphant return already.
The Fan. Forces LEs and SuperRares were the same figs, so there's no reason, even as a collector, to have them both (unless you're into those boxes, in which case I say just get 2 copies from anywhere, don't worry if they're LEs or SRs).

The paint job on the rings was intentional.
