My mate (Stuart Rex) and I were thinking about how to use Shadow Lass. We thought team her up with Sue Storm for that 19 defend with defend. The we thought about adapting a GL tank team by adding a T'bolt to GL. The question is who else to include on the team? Havok, Mockingbird, A TK'er, any Shield/Hydra. Any other Wilcard pieces?
I'm not particularly looking at any point total (between 400 - 600) and not looking at figures I have just interested in developing the idea.
If you make any suggestions can you explain why you add them.
Cheers

Desperately wanting M&M SR Storm. Anyone got a spare?

E Hive troopers for enhancement, Blackfire for the huge ranged damage potential there, there's lots of ways to go there, really. I've used her in 500 points with CH'P running a gunboat, and Umbra packing around some support pieces(probability control, outwit), and a secondary ranged attacker. In lower point games it is definitely worth using a T'bolted piece to gain the GL TA. You can also run mad poison that way if you use Cheshire or even Viper(Cheshires' combat reflexes are really cool with a 19 defense though). Experiment with her and she won't let you down much.

You don't have to be mad
to post here, but it helps
I would think that the most affordable way to get the GL TA would be to use Marrina or Mockingbird (even though the TA won't help them) or use Jarvis if you are not playing restricted.
Blackfire (for sheer power/pts) is a must or Havok.
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

Shadow Lass goes quite well with almost any TA. While I'm more of a faction-pure Legion
player (I'm an LSH fan), WC + Defend + Smoke Cloud + Flight = very useful fig
The hardest decision is whether to use Tasmia Mallor (SL's "secret" identity) as the
Defend/SC machine she is, or turn her loose as a secondary attacker. The second option
isn't as crazy as it first seems; Shady has quite the vicious history in LSH history, given
the savagery of her race, the Talokians.
Those clicks of 3 Damage on the E and V are very accurate, whether up close (she's the Talokian Shadow Champion, so martial training is part of her background) or at range (4 to 6 range is a bit close for my taste, but Shady does have "shadow lightning," so there's
plenty of background supporting her use as an attacker.
If you go that route, I recommend giving her Force Field and sticking to her ranged attack. She's a bit fragile for close combat, even with her high starting Def. Giving her the Police TA for an AV boost also is recommended; the Science Police figs from Unleashed are an excellent (and cheap) thematically accurate way to do so. The Ambush feat from CD is
a good AV boost if you use her for close combat, but watch out - her Stealth goes off for
a turn, so you'd better be sure she can take a reprisal.
The alt. FF/Defend combo "tank" team isn't a bad idea, but just watch out for EE, as
usual. Where Shady can truly excel in a support role, though, is by combining her with
the Flashbang feat (also from CD); she essentially gains a psuedo-Running Shot
form of Smoke Cloud, which can become a mobile Barrier for Bat-TA teams, or LSH
squads with, say, Spoiler ...
I've seen her paired with Dr. Strange to much success.
if you're going with the wildcard abuse strategy, I'd set her up like you said with Sue Storm and a TB'd GL, and use a slew of other wildcarders and some MOE figs like Vet Klaw. That way, you can, for instance, have Dr. Light, a trick shotting Klaw, Jynx, and Emerald Empress dishing out 15 damage every single round and never losing that 19 defense.
