My favorite of all the Draxes. This one is the second cheapest but has 2 clicks of 4 damage which none of the others have. It also has consistently high attack values which I really like. It's primarily close combat but the range is there just in case. None of the other versions can compete with the consistently high combat values. Arthur Douglas carries a 9 attack and 16 defense to click 8 while even the Veteran loses those values after click 6. I especially like the 18 defense and the high combat values with Willpower just before the Regeneration click so you can regenerate to something GOOD for a change and then push next turn to use it without penalty. I would advise againt Automatic Regeneration for a feat but some Perplex and a Meteorite Special Object make this figure every bit as good as the Veteran.
My first choice from the Drax lineup. Amazing consistency in attack values and damage dealing that many don't expect if they're not familiar with the dial.
Matched Only by Rampaging Hulk in Terms of Brutality for the Points, AD actually clocks in at one more point, I actually prefer him over Rampaging Hulk though, Hulk can't first strike at higher then 2 damage, doesnt not have the double bolt range, and does not Regen into Willpower (Which helps with Pushing Damage) While they both have great mid-dials Hulks is Better. But the best Part? Putting the two on the same team with SR Scarlet Witch and a Protected on Hulk. Best 300pt Team Eva
This guy can bring a lot of pain for his point cost. Structurally he reminds me of the older Sub-Mariners... Charge-Super Strength breaking into a high-attack Flurry in the middle. Setting him apart is the 6 range and 2 targets, and a surge of CCE/Willpower and even a dash of Regen (but good luck with it on one click with a 14 defense). On the other hand, he doesn't put his best attack or damage forward. If you can get there, his 3rd click is pretty fierce with 18 defense and 4 damage but still packing Charge.

Probably one of the only draxs, out of the four, that you wouldn't mind getting cheaply blasted early on. As his best clicks are perfectly placed mid dial! Unlike the experienced version whose flurry clicks have terribly low Attack values, this drax holds his BEST attack values where he can deliver them twice in one turn! This drax has horrid range, and most of his powers deal with close combat negating the need for range altogether. However, you might surprise your opponent late game with the ability to incapacitate two characters from six squares away, as it should be the ONLY time you should attempt to utilize his range. Nice to see regeneration again on him as it was missing in the experience version.....perplex is an interesting surprise as well. This drax is most likely based off of early prototype smart, pursuing thanos drax. Chronos must have been testing the waters with him and his powers. Over all....his point value is great! And this is yet another drax that can stand its ground against modern figures with cards....WITH the right support. Fortunately he has his own perplex. :)
