If a pulse waver is tked out and uses running shot to get farther out doesnt he or she need to target a character if using Rs per the wording of Rs even though pw says it doesnt target characters.

can you tk out on the first turn before oppnent has moved and pulsewave, hitting them in their starting area since you are not targeting anyone?

1) You can use Pulse Wave with Running Shot as long as there is at least one target in range for Pulse Wave.

2) Er. Maybe? I don't recall the current wording on first turn immunity, but it wouldn't have any effect even if you were allowed to do it: I know that first turn immunity has all characters ignore damage dealt to them.

This is more of a strategy thing, but it is relevant...

Bear in mind that in order for this to work, the gods would need to smile upon you.

Using several TK's, get a Force Blaster next to the starting area. FB someone. The FB is not an attack, nor does it damage, so it will work.

Now, that figure will no longer be in its starting position. As such, it is not protected by FTI anymore. Blast away.

Your idea reminds me of pool (billiards) in several ways:
