When making a Transporter move and attack or HSS-and-run, any figure you're carrying is, technically, 'off the board' until you finish your move, correct? You can't use a HYDRA/Police fig for +1 on a ranged shot, etc.
So... what happens if you're a flying HSS wildcard like, oh, say, Monel, or a transporting wildcard like Mirror Master, and you're adjacent to a Superman Enemy at the start of your turn? You Outwit something, pick up your friend, and do a move-and-attack-and-move... since the other Superman Enemy is technically no longer adjacent to you, does your Outwit go away?
For that matter, is HSS really a factor here? Does -any- flying move remove the passenger from the board (and adjacency)? Is this the Superman Enemy weakpoint -- they can't carry people and keep their extra Outwit?
Superman Enemy: When two friendly Superman Enemy... This team ability is cancelled at the end of an action in which the two Superman Enemy team members are no longer adjacent.
Since the flier/transporter (HSS or no) is carrying the other Superman Enemy during an action and since the carried character is placed back on the map adjacent to the flier/transporter at the end of the action, the requirements for canceling the TA are never met.
In otherwords, yes, you were over thinking it just a tad
It is good to think, though. It helps us catches stuff that are real problems.
