Lines of fire to and from the character are not blocked by characters with the same team symbol."

Does this mean that my opponents have a clear line of fire through my teammates with the same TA as well?

I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.

yeah but if it wasn't for rule of 3 it would be deadly with PD/Hydra teams
