Hey, when I play heroclix at home I try to stay on top of the new rules that are introduced into the the game. When I go to a tournament I find out that some of the rules I was ready to bet my life over were no longer rules or they were altered. This left me at a big disadvantage. i can't remeber all of the rules but I will try and write all of the ones that I can...If you could just clarify what the proper ruling is it would be greatly appreciated.
1. Have they gotten rid of rule that fliers can fly by others? I played that when a flyer touches somebody else on the map that they have to stop like a regular figure.
2. When I used me V Halo on her first click I double targeted two of hios characters. I hit both and tried to do 2 to one and 3 to another. He then called me out saying I can't spread RCE damage across multiple targets. Am I allowed to?
3. He outwited my Involnerability at the end of his turn and attempted to poison me at the start of his next turn. I said no you can't do that and all of his friends backed him up. Are you allowed to do this.
If you could just answer these it would really help me out next time

Danger Room Rule Book (page 18):
A flying character occupies its square regardless of flight mode. No other character can occupy the same square as a flying character. Flying characters may move through squares adjacent to and occupied by opposing characters.
Flying characters still need to role breakaway if they begin a movement adjacent to an opposing character, but as you can see above, once they are moving, they ignore other characters.

Your opponent was correct.
Danger Room PAC:
RANGED COMBAT EXPERT (OPTIONAL): Give this character a power action. It makes a ranged combat attack against a single target character; modify its damage value by +2 for the attack. Ranged Combat Expert cannot be used when using an object as a weapon.

While his timing in this particular instance was off, you can indeed use Poison and Outwit together.
Poison occurs at the beginning of the Poison character's turn. Outwit may be used any time during your turn... including the beginning before Poison is used.
I never stay up on the rules, when I play I rely on asking my judge (Azrael0626 a.k.a Mr. Awesomeness) or someone will inform me. Otherwise, I go to have fun and interact with others.

actually the returning of powers from a previous turn's outwitting is also a "beginning of turn effect", and can be resolved in any order that the player whose turn it is decides. so a defensive power may be outwitted either way to provide an opening for poison...

No, not really. Once the new turn begins, Outwit ends. Just like Barrier and Smoke Cloud are ended. Effects that end at the beginning of a turn occur before anything else does.
From the Danger Room rule book (page 16):
Some game effects may occur at the beginning of a player’s turn. These effects are noted on the powers and abilities card or in the rules text for the effect, which are found on feat cards, on battlefield condition cards, as part of scenarios, or elsewhere. Prior to initiating these effects, any effects that last “until the beginning of your turn” resolve. Then effects that occur “at the beginning of your turn” may be performed in any order, as chosen by the player whose turn it is.
Darn wrong on all three, oh well I didn't make a seen at the the tourney and just noted the instances. K thanks for the help even though it didn't come out in my favor.

Me? I've got a different problem. I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die. - superman JLU Destoyer
