When you taxi someone doing a Running Shot when do you place the figure down? Is it before or after you roll the attack?
I was wondering because if I Running Shot and carry a stealthed character can I shot and then place the Stealthed character in Hindering terrain in my line of sight?
I always thought that if you have to complete the Running Shot before placing the figure (why Enhancement doesn't work) then can you place the figure in your own line of sight?
For Running Shot and Charge thats before the attack.
For HSS thats after the attack and movement completes.
Enhacement works just fine with Running Shot.
SHIELD does not work because you can not give a carried character an ACTION (of the non-free variety)

Enhancement will work with Running Shot.* You place the Fig and shoot. So you also can't use your idea of the stealthed character. Unless you have Trickshot or another ability to shoot through figure bases.
*SHIELD does not work in that case because you cannot assign the needed action to the SHIELD fig after the Running Shooter carries him because of NAAT.
Thanks for the help. Always thought you couldn't use enhancement with Runng Shot if you carried the Enhancer. Oh well, that's why we ask questions, to learn stuff we didn't know.

S.H.I.E.L.D.: When a friendly character makes a ranged combat attack, you may give any number of friendly S.H.I.E.L.D. team members adjacent to the attacker a power action before making the attack roll. Modify the attacker’s damage value by +1 for each S.H.I.E.L.D. team member given a power action in this way.
don´t say anything about the time for the attack. SO
I have one Shield figure not adjacent to the figure that makes the running shot so I do a power action to the shield figure to use the team ability and then I make the running shot whit the other figure and place it base to base whit the shield figure and +1 DAMAGE !

Maybe YES maybe NO ? Can i do this?
Thanks.
First of all, your timing is a little off - the SHIELD figure is given its power action at the time of the friendly figure's attack - in the case of a Running shot, the action would be given after the movement but before the dice are rolled.
But, if the Running Shot figure ends up adjacent to a SHIELD figure that is eligble to take a power action (i.e. one that has not been carried and has not been given another action the same round), then it is fully legal for the SHIELD figure to use its TA to increase the damage value of the Running Shotter.

Agreed. It also works with Enhance figs or Hydra/PD (if they have LOF to the target) TAs, but with those, they can also be carried with RS and still get the benefit.
Needless to say, none of them work if they are carried with HSS or Transporter MAM.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

It's not really needless to say why in case someone does not know: A carried figure is considered off the board while carried and therefore cannot use any of its powers during the move.
It's been said many times before, but not in this thread... ;-)
