Got a couple of questions for the rules Gurus on here:
1)During a Pounce, when do you check for Skrull TA/Shapechange?
2)Can you Dissent multiple figs or is it once per turn?
3)Does Quake check for Skrull/Shapechange?
4) Does Quake trigger Mystics retalliation?
Thanks in advance!
1. When the actual attack roll is about to be made; i.e., Spidey pounces up to smack the Super Skrull, bases him, then the Skrull tries to make him think it's actually Mary Jane. (Hmmm, that seems like it might be going somewhere...)
2. Just once, as you are using your Outwit. Works just like anything else you do with Outwit.
3. Although Quake does not specifically say that it targets a character, Shape Change/Skrull/Danger Girl gets a roll against that attack in order to avoid it. The entry for Skrull in the Marvel HCE&C mentions EE splash damage, Mastermind damage and Pulse Wave specifically as non-targeting. The General HCE&C entry for Quake does specifically mentions Shape Change, Skrull, etc. as potentially avoiding the attack.
The short: You get your Skrull/Danger Girl/Shape Change roll against Quake to attempt to make yourself an invalid target.
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.

It's in the errata somewhere that if you make Shapechange or Skrull/Danger Girl you don't get affected by Quake, but others who don't still do.
I probably got the wording wrong.
EDIT: It's in general errata and clarifications on wizkidsgames.com under the Quake entry. It's all alphabetical, but I can't copy and paste it.
This is correct. I have updated my first post.
Here's the quote:

Wine is only good with cheese, not Heroclix.
As an aside, you know the terminology is difficult when the guys who make the game can't even get it straight all the time. Take Fastball Special and its need for errata from "grounded" to "non-flying."
Think of it like "Single-Target Pulsewave," because Pulsewave does not target.
Seriously. If I tried to explain to my mom that actions are not attacks and whatnot, she'd get mighty confused. Ah well, I love the game.
About the Pounce question, if Spidey rolled up to Pounce Super Skrull and Skrull made his team ability roll wouldn't Spidey's action be a move only and he wouldn't take the extra click of damage for pouncing, right?

Unfortunately, no.... The Pounce action (Power action) was initiated and started, so even though you only did the first part of the power action, you still take the click that the feat requires.
Same way that you still take 2 clicks if you use Nova Blast and roll a 3... or snake-eyes
...Yeah, that sucks, too
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

...which is why you should always try to have a secondary target availible when trying to attack a Shape Changer/Skrull.
