Just a quick question.

Does this feat work with HSS? We ruled yesterday that it did, but I just wanted to make sure for future reference. If it does, WOW !!! My buddy used it on Icons V Supes, and smacked the bejessus out of my Thanos and LE Iron Man. Ouch.......

It shouldn't work. According to the card you have to "give the character a power action" to use it. With HSS, you're also giving the character a power action to use HSS. It seems to me like you'd have to choose which you wanted to use, the HSS or the feat.

I thought that too. After all you can't give a character more than 1 action, other than a free action, in a single turn. But my buddy argued that it both said give a power action and that meant you could do it. It was a friendly game (3000 points, no figures under 100) so I didn't argue it. But it seems mightily undercosted if it does work.

Hold the line does not work with Hypersonic Speed.
Hypersonic speed only allows the character to be assigned a close or ranged combat attack as a free action. You can not assign the character a power action as a free action.

So, according to your buddy, you could give a character a power action to use Phasing, Ranged Combat Expert and Hold the Line in the same turn...

Since they all require a power action, you should be able to use them all, right?
