I am thinking about running a "One Man Army" scenario in an up coming week and i was wondering what people would play
here would be the basic rules
300 points, 1 figure only
you may use any feats that have been printed on your figure to fill up points
I am not sure who i would play, the possibilities are cool, you could play a super man like man of steel or possibly the herald Silver surfer (probly my choice)
quit calling web tokens objects dammit, they cannot be carried and have no "unique game effect" they are nothing more then sculpted "Special" cardboard squares
I would play a 300 point Sentinel, in the hopes that I would capture my opponent before getting blasted.
Also, what good would Drag do you, unless you happen to be playing against a grounded figure, who happens to be on elevated terrain, who also happens to not have any damage reducers at that moment...?
My H/W link does not reflect the wants for my collection, it is a list of figures that I already have, but still "want" to play.
Surfer could be a good choice, as he can easily run rings around slower opponents.
DC Ares with Fortitude could be a winner. Well, at least against Silver Surfer who will stop in his tracks after hitting him once! Marvel Ares can be Tbolted, offering tactical flexibility.
Superman is an obvious candidate for a scenario like this, but MOS isn't suitable because he needs a good team around him. NGN Supes could dominate with his Stealth, though.
If I had the new Doomsday, I would definately use him with Fortitude, Protected and and Nanoarmor. He probably would not be able to take down hypersonic speeders but it might be fun to try!
#063 LE Ilkimys
Team: Minions of Doom
Range: 8 ///
Points: 129
It could be interesting to try out Lobo in that format or better yet, a 300pts Sentinel ! :P one attack roll FTW!
Yeah i didn;t think about this, that should probly be on of the scenario conditions ... no sentinal/sinestro
Yea i agree about mystics though any big mystic is good.
also the KC Flash [yawns with bordem] could do good but there arn;t many of them in our group so i don;t expect to see one,
Drag was just 5 more points lol although i could drop it for another 10 point feat, maybe AP
HSS figures are almost a must because of the need to manuvere and jockey for position.
Also call me crazy but maybe a stardust team could do well
Stardust 171
+Repulsor Shield 25
+ Protected 8
+ Life model Decoy 12
+ Auto Regen 12
+ nanoarmor 6
+ Damage Shield 10
+ Armor Piercing 10
+ And Stay Down 6
+ Divebomn 10
+ Hightened Reflexes 10
+ Haymaker 10
+ pummel 10
300 points on the nose

I think that has already been suggested but it seems good enough to suggest twice

The more i think about it, Nimrod should be pretty mean. With all the Repulsor shields, Fortitude and whatnot flying around, PW might be the bast tool out there. Nimrod has plenty of AV with very decent mobility. Too bad auto regen and R.Shield won't fit on him though.
I played in this kind of format before and I used the General to get me to the finals. Probably not the most competitive, but it sure was fun with all that regen.

fortitude says nothing about canceling an opponents feats :D
