1st: Can you replace more than one starro slave per week, i.e. could I today, Oct 6, play both Aquaman and Flash in my sealed?
2nd: I think I did this right but I want to hear some feedback. This happened last week in my sealed:
The setup:
At this point in the game 'Bill' has Bronze Tiger and Amazo for his army and 'Ted' has Deadman remaining.
Amazo is possesed by Deadman, so Deadman goes to his card, now 'Bill' has Bronze Tiger and 'Ted' has Amazo on the field and Deadman off. Amazo pushes to KO Bronze Tiger. As Amazo is friendly to 'Ted's' team I ruled the game is over as all 'Bill's' character's were eliminated and Ted wins. If it continues at this point Amazo takes his push which does not KO him but as Amazo takes a click of damage, so does Deadman and that KOs Deadman. I ruled Bill gets survivor points for Amazo and Ted for Deadman which is odd because Ted wins and Bill has more points.
Did I stop the game at the right point?
Were points awarded correctly?

I am not sure about this. I know the official instructions the envoys received makes sound as if you can, but then Mark Tuttle apparently said the opposite on the forums. As I am not actually running any Starro events, I haven't bothered to keep on top of this one. Hopefully someone else here can shed some more light on this question.

Sort of. The actual points themselves, from your description, appear to have been awarded correctly. However, assuming your description above is accurate, Bill should have won since he had more points. Doesn't matter that Ted was the 'last man standing': if characters have been KO'd, the player with the most victory points wins (page 45 of LoSH rules). Normally, the last player on the map is the winner because his survivor points tip the scales in his favor, but things like AE KOs, captured figures, and Deadman's Possesion can result in the wiped out character having the higher point total.
When you say it like that, (most points wins), you sound completely right. Hmmm.., that worries me. Both of these guys are going to want that 1st round bye for Starro. I think I'll fall on my sword and give them both a bye. Anybody else know about the slaves?
According to Marke Tuttle and the rules arb. (in the Ask Thread on the WK site) you can use one and only one slave on your team each week, however which one is up to the player. That is how I am going to run the events.

This is in the Starro FAQ on the WK judges' forum. One and only one
as for deadman. when he is in possession of an opponent's figure and that was the last figure on your opponent's team, the game is immediately over. since you have officially eliminated your opponent. however, due to the errata your opponent will still score the points for the possessed figure since it wasn't defeated.
Not really. You just need to make sure that A) Deadman only uses his power on character that cost less than he does (so his survivor points will be worth more than their's) and/or B) if you do Possess a character more expensive than Deadman, make sure at least some of the rest of your team survives (to balance out the survivor points).
To me, at least, all it really means is that you just can't go Possessing characters willy nilly.
