It's come up before. Personally, I think it would lose. Batman is not the cheese figure he is made out to be. Very, very good but not gamebreaking, and not without weaknesses.
If I saw that team, I'd try to punk each Batman once to get rid of all the outwit and 3 damage, after that he's not all that hard to take care of. Every team ought to have a good anti-stealth figure or two.
That's not even cheese. That's ####. If I saw it in a tourney, I'd stop playing at that location. Period.
People have the right to play any team that they want as long as it meets the conditions of the match.
I for one am becoming tempted to drive around to various tournaments and play the cheesiest team I can think of just to spite people who try to strong arm others into playing in a manner that they themselves approve of with ostracization or threats of taking their ball and going home.

(That team isn't even cheese)
My point isn't that I don't think he shouldn't have the right to play it. My point is that he'll more than likely do very well, if not win, and it would be a damn boring match to play and watch. If I was playing somewhere where people cared THAT much about simply winning a match, then I'd leave and go somewhere that would be fun for me to play. Because to me... this ain't chess.
This is supposed to be a game about comics, and I don't want to play against people that find any way to win no matter how "un-comic-ish" it is. LAMP made me stop playing at one venue. Why? Because I was playing against rules lawyers, not comic fans. If you want to go nuts figuring out rules and stuff like that over playing out battles that make comic sense, then go to the damn Magick table and stop asking me why I think that Lockjaw and Viper are stupid together.
If I wanted to deal with lawyers every Sunday, I'd play Golf.

Did anyone say that a player wouldn't have the RIGHT to play a team like that?
I was in Redding, CA this weekend. As I was getting a coffee I saw a story on the front page of the local paper - "KKK Rally Planned for Today". Do the KKK nutjobs have a RIGHT to assemble and spout their hateful nonsense? Sure. That doesn't mean it's a nice thing to do. Let's not talk about rights.
IMO in a social game like this, you have a responsibility to try and make an *effort* to ensure that your opponent has a good time as well. Using a team like this wouldn't be a good start toward that goal. It's annoying, it's potentially game breaking for many opposing builds, and it's not even close to "comic accurate".
Feel free to drive to all your venues and try to prove your point though. FWIW I think doing so would say more about you than your opponents. Just because you CAN do something, that doesn't mean you SHOULD. It's a game; it should be about having fun; for BOTH people.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash

Amen, brother.
You should play golf anyway though. It's a great game. Seriously.

Well, I agree with the sentiments here, but I still think the 4-Batmen team is going to lose to most other teams. It's out-actioned, for one (these guys have no willpower) and Bats has enough of a glass jaw to to be too concerned.
I don't think I'd play more than 2 on any 300 pt. team.
They'd benifit from TK or a flier with better damage capabilities, but yeah, let's see how many Batmen we can effectively fit onto a team.
Did that guy seriously just compare playing multiple Batmen to a KKK rally?
I believe 4 Batman team has a chance of winning, and equal chance of losing, but I plan on playing one just to irritate people. If you want to slap me, bring it. Mwhahahaa
If I make you a trade offer, even if you think it's ridiculous, please at least respond with a kind and simple "Thanks but no thanks."

You can't argue that this team would be "un-comic-ish". This has happened in the comicbooks. Multiple Batmans in DETECTIVE COMICS #462 (August 1976). Here is a link to a couple of pages http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/comics101/144.html
Just think of Herocix as a big What If... story.
I personally love playing against so call cheese. It makes my victory that much sweeter.
