How exactly does mind control work? As for as pushing your character for each 100 points that controlled character costs or something? Sorry about all the questions kinda of a newb in heroclix. Thanks
I can fight only for something that I love, love only what I respect, and respect only what I at least know.
the way it was explained to me was if the opponent you're targeting is less than 100 u take no damage 100-199 1 damage 200-299 2 damage and so on
Exactly...and don't add feats on to the cost of the character...just the printed Point Value.
Well, I AM pretty awesome.
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.

You make an attack roll (MC can be close or ranged)
If successful you get to use the opponent's figure as if it was yours for one action.
This means one free action as well. So no MC Batman, use his Outwit and then have him batarang someone upside the head. The Outwit would be it.
Once you have completed said action, the figure goes back to being an enemy controlled figure
Then you take any pushing damage for the point value of the mind controlled character.
If you MC'ed more than one, add their point together to determine feedback damage. So if Professor X MC'd 3 x 99 point characters he would take 2 damage (297)
I just want to point out (since a couple people have used the term) that Mind Control feedback damage is NOT pushing damage; it is damage taken.
If it was pushing damage, things like Willpower and Inspiring Command could be used to avoid the damage while things like BFC Exhaustion would increase it.
As it stands, the only thing that has any outside influence on the damage taken from Mind Control is the feat Mental Shields. Otherwise, if you MC 100 or more points, your figure is taking that damage.
So for the unique prof. X do you take the pushing damamge for all 2 characters at the end of the entire mind control action or after you have acted with each of the 3 characters?

You add up the points of however many you controlled and, once the entire MC action (including the controlled character's free actions) is complete, Professor Xavier will take his damage.

At the end of the entire MC
Whoops, too slow.
