Can the new Apocalypse use Plasticity and Shape Change at the same time?

I wanted to try out a one man army. I know they usually lose, but I still wanted to try one out. I was going to use Fortitude, Camouflage, Entangle, Takedown, and Monster Hunter. Pick pieces off and stay next to blocking terrain.

Are any of these cards retired?

Yes, you can...But a lot of feats won't work, because he doesn't have plasticity and shape change, he can use them...So no Camouflage, Takedown, or Entangle. Also...as for retirement, Fort is fine as long as it's Avengers, Camouflage and Entangle are fine, and the last two are from M&M, so they're good.

This game has changed so much. I guess I will have to play a few games and read the PAC. What PAC has the most current rules.

The new special " White-Powers " cannot be used with " Feats " . It's a good rule in my opinion .

I guess that would make a lot of characters too powerful.

Fixed it for you. It's just fine to use Special Powers with feats without prerequisites (Armor Piercing can for example be used to avoid reduction of damage dealt when using a Special Power) or with feats that have multiple prerequisites (Mandarin can use Mental Shields to protect himself from feedback damage when using the Mind Control gained by his Left Hand of the Mandarin power as long as he has Willpower as well). However, as has been said, being able to use a power through a Special Power does not by itself qualify you for using a feat with that power as a prerequisite.

if special powers instead gave you multiple powers (as opposed to just letting you use them) then you could potentially have more than 4 things to have to counter, so it's nice that i can counter them by each individual stat instead

I think the game has improved a lot since I last played. I noticed a big increase in players in my area too.

That's always good to hear! When did you stop playing last? The guy making the dials, Seth Johnson, is really great at his job and really knows how to make a fun and well rounded dial.

Yeah, I think heroclix has finally reached its prime, hopefully it will get even better though! Cards and Special Powers are probably the best thing to happen to the game though.

This white powers can give the figures a more accurate aproach to ther comic-book counterparts. For example Gambit, and don't forget Dark Beast Special power... that one's pretty Scary!!!!

it also allows for abilities to be combined that were never able to be combined before, like charge and flurry
