Ok a thought just crossed my mind. Shield Disruptor nerfs damage reducers. But Green Scar has his SP The Toughest One There Is, which gives him Willpower and Imperv. When within 4 squares of the Shield Disruptor, does the object nerf his SP? Or since he has an SP instead of a true damage reducing power, does he get to keep his SP within 4 squares of the object? Or does the object nerf the Imperv part of his SP only, leaving him still with Willpower?

For those who don't know what SP stands for, its Special Power. Just thought I'd make it clear in case anyone was wondering.

Shield Disruptor doesn't 'nerf' any powers. It creates an area on the map where damage dealt can't be reduced. But it does nothing to the powers that lead to the damage reduction. Toughness and invul reduce damage by a set amount. Imperv reduces damage dealt to zero. So none of those three powers will do anything while in the range of Shield Disruptor. They are still on the dials, but all they can do is fill prerequisites for feats while within range of Shield Disruptor. So Scar's SP would still work, but damage would not be able to be reduced by it. And since SP's don't qualify for feats, in effect all Scar has is Willpower.

I've played against Green Scar twice, and both times the Shield Disruptor was his downfall.

Both times, my opponent acknowledged that he should have just destroyed the Disruptor and took a chance at being lit up by my crew.

Or just pick you up and beat you on the head with it. Which is what I'm thinking of doing if I ever play Green Scar and that thing comes out.
