Sure thing. Steal Energy activates whenever you deal damage to an opponent with a close combat attack.
Just keep in mind that the healing occurs immediately after the attack - if you lose your Flurry after healing from the first attack, you cannot make the second attack. Still, it is a potent combo.

Yeah, but since we were talking about SE/F combo, the combo is no longer viable when there's no Steal Energy nor Flurry..
Your post could be interpreted as "If you lose Steal Energy, you cannot make the second attack" though, which is not true. I realize this is probably not what you meant, but I figured a clarification was in order in case some newbie was confused by your post.

No, that was not what i meant.. Clarifying was a good thought
Recap: Steal Energy works with Flurry.
If you lose Steal Energy after the first attack you can still make the second, but without regaining Health.
If you lose Flurry and keep Steal Energy, you can't make the second attack.
This is what makes Zombie Hulk and Omega Red so nasty. By making two damaging attacks they regain two HP (or one if they push w/o willpower)

I know it's an older thread, but I must say, that's what always bothered me about the Zombie Giant Man - It's basically just a probability control seeing as how whenever he has flurry and steal energy, he'll lose his flurry after the first attack because it's never back to back.
Still, it's nice to find a place that was able to clarify that for me.

Well, he does have consecutive clicks of Flurry/Steal Energy towards the end of his dial, it's just those first two clicks that are a bit odd.
But even that first click is a nice failsafe against low rolling, Super senses, etc. Plus, if you attack a Mystic or roll poorly for the Ground Zero BFC you might end up on the click you started on...
I can't believe I kept overlooking the flurry/steal energy on the last 3 dials and I just practiced using him too... Now that's just sad. Heh, we might as well forget about that whole "didn't like thing". Still, I'll always feel odd about that dial, but I'm happy that I least get 2 tries to make a hit in the beginning.
Yeah, I know it's quite an old thread. I didn't really want to resurrect it, but I thought, what the hell. Always feel its better to add to old threads though than create a new one, even if it's quite a bit old.
