Is there anything that keeps one figure from outwitting, perplexing, or probability-controlling when an enemy figure is adjecent to them, so long as the first figure still has clear line of sight to another enemy? For example, starter set joker is adjacent to Batman, but Batman can still "see" Darkseid 2 to 10 squares away--any problem outwitting him?
The typical hang-up with this is that the rulebook specifically says you can't make ranged combat attacks (which require LOF) when you are adjacent to an opposing figure.... but that doesn't mean that all LOF requirements can't be used when you're adjacent.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
