What would some good stregies to use for the rookie anti monitor in a 600 point format? I don't think you can feat him up anyway. He has quint TA and the MOE and no pushing damage ability. And also multi attack. Which rocks! He can also heal at most for 8 clicks of life back to first rookie slot. So what kind of team within retirement for 600 pts could beat him?
Use the SHield Disruptor to bypass his damage reducers, then use a figure (like R WIldcat) with flurry to Perplex up his damage (equip with MOnster hunter) - Tk him in to attack and compel him to attack 2 more times.
So: Wildcat + Monster hunter + Lotta perplex + Compel (x2). I'd recommend using TK/perplex pieces or TK mind control pieces like Hector Hammond & Mister Mind.

you can't mc him and if you could, youd be taking 6 clicks of damage unless You spend 15 points on mental shields. Also lets say he gets dealt 5 damage straight through, uh oh i nail wildcat for 4 "choosing only to do first attack" then heal for 1-8 clicks.
Why can't I use compel to Mind Control Wildcat again?

Wildcat does base 3 damage with flurry. With Monster Hunter Wildcat's AV will be 11, and damage will be 4 clicks. Perplex Wildcat's damage up twice.
Step 1: TK Wildcat into base contact with Anti-monitor.
Step 2: Move the Shield Disruptor within four squares of AUnti-EM. Give Wildcat an action to Flurry - he'll deal 12 damage if both attacks hit.
Step 3: From the back row, Compel Wildcat to attack again. Another 10 damage!
Step 4: From the back row, compel Wildcat to attack again! Another 10 damage!

Ross he doesnt want to MC Anti Moniter he means he MC's Wildcat with Compel so Wildcat can flurry anti again.
And also the same thing can easily be done with KC supes.
TK up the shield disrupter an then TK up supes with a second TKer and smash anti for 14 straight clicks of damage and then compel him to do 10 more.
thats not counting perplex the best team for it can be done in 500 points vs antis 600.
Ross best thing to do with anti if you can use outwit on TK pieces if you can get in range of them so they cant TK a PW bomb or a KC Supes or another big brick.

The keyword here is COMPEL. He's not MC'ing the Anti-Monitor, he's making Wildcat flurry for 6 damage 3 times in one turn. Even without a Shield Disruptor the A-M would be hard pressed to survive that if you pack a couple of pogs to push, as to stop A-M from healing.
On a similar note, Darkseid + HT Supes + Psycho Pirate w/ Compel + Marvel Girl could prove difficult to overcome for him too, due to Omega Effects but that combo is just plain nasty anyway.
"I just sold you for a cigarette and I don't even smoke!" - Monarch, The Venture Bros.
Is Dark Cauldron DC or Marvel? Because that will keep him from healing too.

Also, Im confused on Auntie's "no pushing ability". I get that he doesnt take pushing damage, but the rules make it sound as if he could just keep taking actions every turn. So bascially, would he never have to clear?
Heres something that I suggest for m0use's team.
R Wildcat + Monster hunter 57
U Mistermind + Compel 83
Green Lantern + Monster hunter 160
V Emerald Empress
V Hawkman + Monster Hunter 138
Dawnstar 60
Play the shield disrupter. Just like mentioned before, Wildcat can flurry like crazy, be compelled and do it all over. Empress has 4 damage force blast and hal with monster hunter is always fun.
SuperSkrull's KO List
Lobo
Ghost Widow
JL Batman
Ahab
Devil Dino and Moon boy
Rare Wondergirl
Tempest

Colossals at 600 are not really a challenge, honestly, they all have significant weaknesses (except for old school Galactus). Antie M gets scary at 1000.
But I digress, Anti-M takes no pushing damage. Ever. He's just like the other colossals in that regard, in that he goes every turn even with two tokens. Which is why they errata'd Shellhead to not work on Colossals.
Ironically, Anti-Monitor likes maps that have lots of blocking, to keep you from drawing an immediate bead on him. You don't need to work too hard to kill him at 600, though. I mean, you need to optimize, but you don't need to break out TEH ULTIMATEZ STRATIGEES to break him down. A good Future theme with KC Supes (sans Compel) will do just fine.
Don't forget his Outwit, though. If I saw a TK-Compel bomb... first thing I'd do with AM is phase close enough and Outwit your TK. (And if I could stomp on your Shield Disruptor to destroy it? Bonus!)

how do you kill rook without shield disrupt ? that damage power is brutal.
well, there are all sorts of ways to kill anyone. with a-m, mystics with wildcards is one way. darkseid is another way, as long as you can keep some giant characters around him to protect line of fire to him. and as far as the damage power is concerned, its been brought up numerous times the strategy of bystander tokens being pushed and killed to keep him from healing
