its not smoke cloud. If you read the card (or the alpha pac) you could see that it is an ability called cover. read it if you want to know what it does.

That purple on attack is Smoke Cloud for Heroclix and Cover for Heroclix: Alpha. The Alpha character cards are used in Heroclix for little more than determining keywords.
