Ok I think I'm really missing something. On his power that says "Human torch can use running shot. When not using the carry ability he does not stop when he becomes adjacent to an opposing character."

Ok I'm just confused. He is a flyer, so I thought he didn't stop when he become adjacent anyway. When doing a running shot if you become adjacent to someone in between the movement and the attack do you have to stop? Sorry just really doesn't make sense to me and how I understood things. Thanks.

It does seem unnecessary. The only time I can see it being put to use is if his Flight ability gets countered.

Which with the new rules is likely since it would inhibit his running shot. Of course, people could just counter "Fiery Streak".

Its incredibly situational.

It means he can still move past figures using Running Shot when he encounters an Aerial Baffler and the Crosswinds BFC as well.
