How would Deep Shadows work with starter Invisible Woman's "Invisible" power?
Deep Shadows reads: Treat all non-blocking terrain as hindering terrain for line of fire purposes. Characters with range values greater than 6 have range values of 6 instead, and range values can't be modified to a value more than 6. All powers, abilities, and effects able to effect characters more than 6 squares away instead affect characters up to 6 squares away.
And "Invisible" reads: Any character that is 7 or more squares from the Invisible Woman can't draw a line of fire to her.
So, the SP affects characters more than 6 squares away. How would this work? Would "Invisible" only affect characters that are 6 squares away?

Darkness would then completely protect Invisible Girl until they get up within 6 squares of her.

Deep Shadows would actually help Sue's opponents more than it helps Sue.
It would make Invisible meaningless... since in Deep Shadows, no figure or effect can reach beyond 6 squares.
Since Invisible states that it prevents LOF from being drawn to Sue at 7 or more squares, and since no one in Deep Shadows can see at that range anyway, Sue would get no benefit from Invisible.
Well Deep Shadows doesn't rule out powers that reach beyond 6 squares, it reduces their reach to 6 squares. I don't think Invisible would be meaningless, it would just be reduced to 6 squares somehow.
No, Invisible doesn't do anything for Sue at 6 or less squares. At 6 or less squares, she becomes "visible," so to speak, so she has no hiding ability. She still has Invulnerability and Barrier and Super Senses and all the other things she has, so she's not unprotected at 6 or less, but she isn't "invisible" any more either.
It's a power designed to protect her from getting picked off or Outwitted or Perplexed at long range (more than 6 squares). Since Deep Shadows eliminates long range, it makes Invisible inconsequential.
