Why is Sentry's "Uncertainty" power written that way?
Okay, I have a question about Sentry's "Uncertainty" power.
Quote
UNCERTAINTY: (non-optional) Roll a d6 at the beginning of your turn. On a result of 3 or 4, Sentry can use Charge until the end of the turn. On result of 5 or 6, Sentry can use Charge and Hypersonic Speed until the end of the turn.
Why does it say Sentry can use Charge and Hypersonic? When is there an scenario when Charge would be better than Hypersonic?
If he had Flurry, then it would make sense so he could use both, but he doesn't have a ranged attack and all he has is Super Strength -- with works with both Charge and HSS.
There's also feat prerequisites to keep in mind - Sentry could be equipped with Opportunist, for instance.
Charge also lets you ignore knockback, and you never know when that may come in handy.

If Sentry had Opportunist on him, would you roll every turn to see if he has Charge, whether or not he is taking an action? If you rolled a 1 or 2, would you remove the tokens becuase he has lost the pre-req?

When the character or an adjacent character makes an attack, after making the roll you can remove any number of opportunist tokens from this card and modify the result of the attack roll by +1 for each token removed. If opportunist tokens are removed when another character makes an attack, deal the character 1 unavoidable damage after the action resolves.
The feat says nothing about removing tokens if you lose the prerequisites (like Contingency Plan does), so if Sentry rolls a 1 or 2 it simply means he cannot use the feat that turn, but all tokens stay on the feat.
this is kinda off topic but it relates to Sentry's SP. If Sentry is the target of a successful mind control attack, do you get to role for his SP when you gain control of him.
Personally, I just like the bet that they fired the best writers
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
