i was reviewing some of the older charactrers, and i was looking at Wrecker.
now this power seems even more pointless than before because if you are hit with a crit you are knocked back......and therefore can't make the closecombat attack.
TURNabout: When Wrecker is the target of a close combat attack resulting in a critical hit or a critical miss, if he possesses Turnabout after the resolution of the attack he can as a free action immediately make a close combat attack targeting the character that attacked him.
is this correct?
A good defense will only last for so long, before you must crush your enemies outright!

Unless the damage is reduced to zero somehow, or you run into a wall, yeah. And if they couldn't hurt you with a crit hit...Why are they attacking you? Another reason Wrecker is positively terrible.
Imagine if it let you make an attack ANY time you were hit. Sigh. Another missed opportunity.

You do realize that when Wrecker does not have Turnabout visible, he has Charge. And if he has Charge and is hit with a critical hit, while he takes damage, he is not knocked back. And if he's on his first two clicks, and is dealt 4 or more damage, he can use Turnabout after the attack. All he needs is Charge before the attack, and Turnabout after the attack.
But against ranged combat attacks.... yeah, it's a lame power.
