Can you Outwit rip hunter and chacters adjacent to rip hunter?

I know it a stupid question just answer please.



TIME MASTER: Rip Hunter can use Outwit and Probability Control. The standard and named powers of Rip Hunter and friendly characters adjacent to him can't be countered.

You can use Outwit to counter the special powers of Rip Hunter and characters adjacent to him (since his own special power only prevents the countering of standard/named powers).

Which means you can use Outwit to counter Time Master.

***BOUNS TIP***

Remember, "can't be countered" means the act of countering as well as the state of being countered.

So if he is adjacent, you cannot initiate the countering.

If he is not adjacent and moves into adjacency, any countered powers return!

What he means is... well, say That Joker outwits Green Arrow's running shot, the next turn, Rip Hunter, who is friendly to Green Arrow, moves adjacent to Green Arrow. Green Arrow's running shot is no longer outwitted because he is adjacent to Rip Hunter.

Let's say some jerk used one of the Ultra-Outwits that counters all powers on a dial. Without your powers, the outwitted character is useless as ... well, Hypertime Parasite

You zip old Rip (hey, that rhymes) up next to him and, as quick as the tick of an atomic clock, Rip has enabled your Outwitted character to be UNoutwitted

makes much more sense.....for have a second i was reading as if you had rip hunter next to rip hunter, rip hunter couldn't outwit rip hunter.....OYI!!!

You can use Outwit on him and his neighbors, but you cannot use it to counter standard or named powers.

You are still able to counter their special powers as well as their abilities.
