Since Trait's can't be countered and Ben's Trait applies to himself (as well as adjacent FF keyword friendlies), he effectively has un-outwittable Toughness, correct?

Specifically I'm think on his Invuln clicks, if Invulnerability is Outwitted, he will still reduce damage by one. Sound right?

I'm not considering Armor Piercing, Psychic Blast or Exploit Weakness those should all overrule the trait.

Not quite correct. Psychic Blast and Exploit Weakness deal penetrating damage. The Glossary definition of Penetrating damage is "Damage that cannot be reduced by powers that reduce damage dealt" (emphasis mine) - it says nothing about traits though, so Ben would still get to reduce the damage. You could say his trait works like the life Model Decoy feat...
Armor Piercing still bypasses the trait though as that only deals with the damage itself.

For some solid synergy, run Benjamin J. Grimm with Johnny Storm.

Traits aren't ignored by Pulse Wave.

Well, looks like the ol' Pulse Wave+Ben Grimm combo's out the window.

Unless Ben is just outside the PW range (but adjacent to someone inside it)

Unavoidable and Penetrating have changed. Pulse Wave has not. PW's damage is neither Penetrating nor Unavoidable. I don't see where anything changed in the way traits interact with Pulse Wave.

This was the last I heard (On WK). Has there been ore info?

and errata's like this is why they should run some of these past players before releasing them.....
