Attack - Dark Knight: Batman can use Flurry and Smoke Cloud. If Batman has no action tokens when he uses Smoke Cloud, he can use it as a free action.

here is a question, if batman has two tokens and at the end of your turn you clear, I am assuming you couldn't use your smokecloud free action just before your opponents turn?

Nope. Clearing tokens ends your turn

figured as much but i wanted to make sure my players, IF any after i get us to a new store (after being screwed over by our old one....grumble grumble) try it.

It should read:

heh then that would be after you clear the tokens because that would be the end of your turn

Why wouldn't Batman use it at the beginning of his turn, before taking a tokenable action, after he cleared the previous turn. Then he can do anything he wants.

You can't use free actions during your opponent's turn.

The problem here is that, if the wording had been such, then Batman would have had to have started the turn without an action token, and could not take any non-free actions during the turn. Otherwise, he would have at least one action token on him before removing tokens. So, in otherwords, Batman can sit there the whole game and do nothing except Smokecloud as free actions. Ok, fine, he can get carried, and Warbound helps this a bit, but is that really the best way to field Batman? This is exactly why Opportunist is such a difficult feat card to use efficiently.
