If I were to outwit someone's toughness and they are adjacent to a poison character. At the begining of my next turn do they take one damage from poison.
I ruled yes because both happen at the begininning of my turn (outwitted power comes back and poison damage applied) and since they happen at the same time being the active player I can pick the order.
You would need to be able to outwit the toughness at the beginning of the turn in which the poison is to apply (i.e. ICONS Joker next to a character with toughness. At the beginning of your turn, outwit toughness then the poison damage is applied). Your wording made it seem like you could outwit toughness at the end of your turn, let them take their turn, and then apply the poison damage (which is untrue). Order of actions is the way with this one.

Just want to see if I was right on this one.
basically both happen at the beginning of the players turn. The order in which they happen is totally dependent on the active player.
A good defense will only last for so long, before you must crush your enemies outright!

This is incorrect. They do not happen at the same time.
POISON Once at the beginning of your turn, as a free action this character deals 1 damage to each opposing adjacent character.
OUTWIT Once during your turn (but not during another action), as a free action this character counters a power or an ability (other than a team ability) possessed by a single target opposing character. Treat the target as if it does not have the countered power or ability, which remains countered until the beginning of your next turn. A character using this power must be within 10 squares of the target and have a clear line of fire to the target. If this character loses Outwit or is defeated, the countered power or ability returns immediately.
"Until the beginning of your next turn" means that it ends just before the turn begins.
then since its a free action, it can happen at the beginning of your turn just before the poison, correct?
That is correct.
