Hey, so I've been out of the game for a couple months or so. I've missed the whole Arkham Asylum release and have yet to play a game involving a single piece from that set, or any Clix game for that matter. So I'm curious as to what figs are being played the most often and what deadly team combos should I be looking out for when I jump back into the ring during these next few weeks. Any tips?

Figs I have seen played with Some Regularity
Batman(Beyond)
The Question
Nightshade (Flashbang)
Robin (Flashbang)
Zoom
Lyssa Drak
Well Arkham Assylum was not on the same power scale as SI. No Namor/Dr Strange/Mrs Skrull Marvel etc... in this set.
There are some nice pieces in the set though, sensualninja has a list I could agree with, but nothing that will make you change your game.
The fig to get IMO is Nightshade. Best new SP, good keywords, cheep piece... ugly face though. I'll list the Gotham City Detective too. That piece is prime filler. Batman Beyond adds some nice twists (flyer mostly) in the Gotham Line-up and a great TA to copy for all the Armor/Futur/Teen wildcards out there. Feat wise Lunge is a great investement for all those bruisers out there. If you have money to shed, Lamppost/Gargoyle Batman (the 120 pts one, I think it's collector #099) is a nice chase to get, but not nearly a game changer like the chase Superman were in Crissis.
Superboy prime is were the money is in SRs, but at 318 you won't play him often. Joker, Batgirl and Metron are the ones I would focus on if you are a competitive gamer. Pretty much all the others are nice and playable too (except Saturn Queen IMO) but nothing that isn't replaceable. Then again, except Superboy, they go relatively cheep on the secondary market.
In addition to the above, don't overlook Riddler. His SP can turn high enemy DVs into very hittable ones.
God is smarter than we are....
Visit Heroclixin'! Or check out my trade thread. Molly Hayes' KO list: HoT Ultron, HoT Thor, SI Iron Man, AV Wonder Man, SI Sentry, LE Diana Prince, R IC Ultron, Pretty Boy, CW Kang, IIM Thunderball, TW Catwoman, OP Red Hulk.
ooo, you forgot t mention the abuse from Captain Gordon!
Summon the Bat, working on any Gotham keyword character can suddenly make a bat/gothamite team sickening, esp if you'd have multiple gordons, and say, an NGN Superman on-hand!
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
Zoom ends up being a fairly cheap piece. I've seen many a team abuse his HHS+Flurry by perplexing him up. The fact that he has prob control really puts him on the edge of stupid goodness
I would add a couple of figures to sensualninja's list:
Gotham City Detective: The PD TA and Enhancement, giving a +1 to attack AND damage (for free, not costing an action), coupled with a decent Defense value and Willpower after the first click, is a bargain for 27 points.
Manhunter: A cheap taxi with Outwit (albeit limited).
Gorilla Grodd: Not cheap, but he brings a lot of interesting options. If you are playing an Arkham-only event, he is very tough in this set. (Time will tell if he can hang in regular games.)
The Question: It's already been listed, but I will reiterate it -- this is, I think, the most-used figure (in my experience) so far in this set. Cheap Stealth + Willpower + Outwit + Perplex + good AV... what's not to love? And good keywords for this set.
