Hi Brian,
Hindering terrain affects Hypersonic speed- meaning you have to stop if you enter hindering terrain and movement is halved coming out. Things that ignore hindering is Superman and Ultimates ability, Giants and characters with flight.
Certain Special powers and feats (I can't recall the name right now- Disintegrate?) allow you to destroy carried objects being carried but doing 3 damage cannot destroy a carried object.
Object that caracters are standing can be destroyed (no rubble left behind to hide in) by doing 3 damage. You can also carry away the object with a super strength character that has leap climb or Hypersonic speed.
Movement is affected normally regardless of whether the character has Hypersonic or not. Characters are what are ignored for movement purposes with Hypersonic speed.
You can not destroy an object that is being held by a character. There are certain exceptions that will allow you to (feats, characters with special powers, etc.)
You can destroy an object a character is standing on. Unless it is an object with a blue outline, then the object is removed from the game. If it is a blue outlined object, it turns into rubble instead of being removed.
As malice was trying to say, you can also carry the object out from under the character if you would normally be able to pick up said object and continue moving. The object can also be TKd out from underneath the figure (which is hilarious by the way).

also if u have a grounded hypersonic figure and they move into hindering terrain they can not make the attack. (from what i have heard)
I'm not sure what you are getting at here Maraud. The only thing I can draw from what you are saying is that Hypersonic characters still have to stop when they enter Hindering, therefore they wouldn't be able to keep moving more to continue onto a different square to hit a character.

Picking up an object out from under someone can only be done with someone who can continue their movement.
Some with say - Charge - cannot. As soon as they become adjacent to the opponent, their movement stops and therefor cannot pick up an obejct as part of a move action.

He is saying that if you do not have some way to ignore hindering terrain for movement, your movement ends IMMEDIATELY upon entering hindering terrain.
Since the HSS attack must occur DURING the movement, being forced to stop by hindering prevents an attack from being made (if it has not already occurred)...even if you want to make the attack from that square.

Of course, that's only affirmative if the grounded figure is a flier or has some other means of doing this.
Ordinarily a non-flying figure cannot pass through opposing figures. HSS on its own does nothing to change this.
You might be right, but I thought that since Hypersonic Speed ignores characters on movement, it treats opposing characters as if they aren't even there, so they can just move right through the squares that enemies occupy.

HSS says "It automatically breaks away and can move through squares adjacent to opposing characters."
