I have seen quite a few posts regarding the use of the BFC Disbanded against the multitude of Special Powers that have arisen granting the "use" of TA's. Can I get a definitive ruling please?
To sum up my question it regards a BFC from Fantastic Forces which states quite simply "Ignore all team abilities." The next subject of the question concerns the new special powers which grant the use of Team abilities. For instance Nightwing uses the Outsiders TA and the Teen Titans for a few clicks and possesses them, however,Kyle Rayner has the ION power which allows the use of Quintessence for 1 click nothing mentioned about possessing it or the symbol. These powers don't function like a full TA since they can't be wildcarded and can be outwitted like a power, except the Quintessence since that's actually one of its utilities. Since Fantastic Forces and this BFC were pre-SP is this covered under "house rules". The Hulk using the Masters of Evil, Specter and JSA, High Evolutionary and the Quintessence power are more examples. Should they be covered on a case by case decision depending if they "use"or"possess"
said TA. Nightwing goes so far as to say he possesses the team symbols and leads me to believe his "extra" TA's could be Wildcarded.
Any official rulings? Like I said I've seen previous posts but I was left with house ruling on a figure by figure case by case basis. Disbanded usually doesn't show up too much but when you get a guy who keeps playing the Alternate Fantastic Four or Power Cosmic teams some people use this card
to even the odds.

Disbanded causes TAs to be ignored. That means they still have the symbols, but the abilities can't be used. So yes, Disbanded would affect SP-granted TAs as well.

Rurouni and Eargose are both correct. For further clarification, let's check the Heroclix glossary to find out what the official meaning of 'ignore' is!

So basically, 'Ignore all team abilities' mean "treat all team abilities as if they did not exist' - it does not matter what the source of the team ability is, the ability itself is null and void while Disbanded is in play.
Oh, and wildcards can indeed copy Nightwing's Titans TA while he has his Dual membership power. The Outsiders TA is of course non-wildcardable.
