Any number of people can play. I'll begin play if I get at least five participants.
Everyone starts with 1000 gold pieces (gp). Each round, two of the combatants listed below will be chosen to fight each other. Odds will be proviced.
FOR INSTANCE:
Smaug vs. Oin.
Odds: Smaug (1 to 1)
Oin (3 to 1)
Players post who they are betting on and how much they want to wager.
Combat is resolved by generating a random number from 1 to 20 for each combatant and adding it to their combat value. High number wins. The loser dies--so the game ends when only one combatant is left alive.
At the beginning of the game, you MAY choose to bet on who you think is the final winner will be. Once made, this bet cannot be revoked and the money you bet is not availabe for the rest of the tournament. BUT if you win the bet, it pays off 50 to 1.
Here's the Combatants and their combat skills:
Smaug: the Fire-Breathing Dragon: 14
Galahad: the Human Warrior: 11
Worf: the Klingon Warrior: 12
Elvern: the Elf Warrior: 12
Oin: the Drawf Warrior: 11
Fluffy: the giant 2-headed wolf: 12
Cout Orloc: the Vampire: 13
Unnamed Skeleton Warrior: 8
Byron: the Poisonous Hamster: 6
Blackbeard: the Pirate: 13
Bloto: the one-armed, drunken hobbit: 7
Scarface: the Orc Warrior: 10
Og: the Ogre: 13
Vern: The Velocitaptor: 12
Periwinkle: the Kobold: 9

Please post if you want to play. You may also place a bet on the final winner if you choose to do so when you sign up.
If this is really Kalel21, then I'm in. You usually don't have typos (that I notice).
It's really me. I was more careless than I usually am in my typing. Sorry about that. Unfortunately, I can't edit the title, so we're permenently stuck with a mispelling of "Gladiatorial."
Anyways, that's two participants. If we can get a couple more, then we're good to go.
It looks like this game isn't catching much attention. Either it's just not interesting enough to most people or I just did too sloppy a job typing it up. (I'm still embarassed by spelling "Gladiator" wrong in the title.)
Wintremute & Space Jawa: Do you guys want to play through it as a two-player game?
