Colossal Spectre: damage dealt carrying over the different dials ?
A few weeks ago, we played colossal Spectre for the third time (first as scenario, the latest two as part of a force).
For all these games, we played it as damage taken by the Spectre does not carry from one dial to another (i.e. Spectre being on the last click of his first dial: he takes 3 clicks, which KO's the first dial, but the other 2 damage aren't carried to the second dial, so, at the end of the action, the Spectre is on the first click of his second dial).
However, I just noticed that this rule only appears on the Spectre rules when he's played as scenario, not as part of a force. So I'm wondering if we played it wrong.
To add to the confusion, the Player Guide specifies for old Galactus (as part of a force) that "Damage carries over from one combat dial to another. In a battle against Hungry Galactus, for example, if there is 1 click left on the Hungry combat dial, and Galactus takes 2 damage, the “extra” 1 damage is applied to the Starving combat dial", and there are no such entries for new Galactus and the Spectre.
So, when played as part of a force, does damage carry from one Spectre dial to another?
I am sorry I don't have Page and Paragraph but as a force, all damage carries on all colossal figures. It is only under scenario rules that "the buck stops" there.
