Just wondering, really: Can SI Speedball Lunge twice in one action thanks to the 'Speedball Effect' SP?

I'd say it is legal, as Speedball has been given an action (he cannot KO anyone or roll doubles without making an attack), and he is about to make an attack. OTOH, timing issues might come in here, but to me it seems the action is still underway when the Speedball Effect kicks in.
Thoughts?
