awww you kill my fire demon and now my pluto can teleport there and regenerate as a free action :( i've ruined some people's days when pluto teleports out of nowhere and busts some heads
My favorite design for a dial in this set. When you get a chance sit one next to an Executioner and try to tell me they don't look like brothers separated @ birth.
Strange in how he plays, Pluto brings an intimidating package for his cost, yet remains reasonable gamebalance-wise. One of the coolest dial layouts ever- a god struggling to maintain the facade until he slips into lord of the dead mode- really makes for a fascinating gameplay experience.
A very interesting dial. theres a lot of power in it, but getting the most out of it might be difficult. definitely for people who really enjoy the planning/strategy element of the game. Using him as just a high attack and damage beat stick is just wasteful.
I love the dial and all but...
Deity, Ruler?
How the hell are you meant to make a themed team outta this?!
Sure everything's going to be over 30pts x.x; Since Rulers/Deity's are expensive...
Best thing I can find are Vet Doombots which, sure, totally rock. But makes very little sense XD

Agreed... but he can be paired with Herc and Ares to do some good but its a lot of point for a few pieces... should have mystical key word as well imagine him and SI Dr. Strange... pure evil
I don't really know too much about his from the comics, so I'll assume they got that right, but as a clix figure he's amazing. The sculpt is decent, but nothing spectacular. I've played against him, and totally underestimated him. I finally got my chance to play him myself last night. What a beast. Starts off as a very capable Range piece, helping his teammates with his Enhancement, then moves into a close combat 'God'. That Exploit weakness with Steal Energy combo, along with his Impervious and good Attack values = pain for your opponents. He took 1 Damage from my opponent last night. The only reason he got down to the EW/Steal Energy clicks, was because he took 3 Damage from the 'Proximity Mines' BFC going off while he was standing next to 2 objects, and on top of another one. By the end of the game, with the EW/Steal Energy combo, I had him back to his second click. Starting 19 DV from Range? 20 if he's in hindering? Sign me up. 12 AV never going below a 9? Nice. Exploit Weakness and then Psychic Blast. SP that allows a FREE regeneration roll? 4 Damage, never going below a 3? All that for 125 points? So good, it's almost absurd.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
I don't know the (DC) character so accuracy may be an issue. As far as the rest, just wow! Burned up the match even against the evils of Jakeem and his Justice Society. Just brutal attack and damage, the Steal Energy ensured he never even saw those nice PB clix. Just a great, brutal figure for 125 points.
Slap fortitude and entrench on him, pair him with 2 winter soldiers and watch your opponent cringe in a 300 point game. That's 16 damage you can dish out in a turn from range!
used him for the first time last night and he was easily my best piece. He ended up taking out Marvel Ares and helping take out 3 other figures including doing about half a dial worth of damage to Odin. I'll be using him aloot more from now on.
Hockey Heaven is here. Erhoff, Regher and Leino, Buffalo Sabres all the way in 2012!!
This guy is great. I teamed him up with the Green Lantern from Blackest Night, Hal carried him the entire time. It reduced his running shot to a mere 5 spaces (oh noes!), but that Enhancement brought his damage up to a nice 5 as well.
And then when they finally got based, Pluto dished out the pain up close, Hal pushed for life instead of damage.... such a good team.
