Sorta like the CoOrdination feat but ignoring terrain also?
I just want to point out that Cap does not ignore terrain in any way. His LoF is not blocked, but that does not mean he ignores the terrain.
Norm just mentioned something about editorializing the effects of powers in another thread. I think that this power is going to become one of the more frequently editorialized, but it is wrong to think of it that way. For one example, if he ignored terrain, there would be no +1 from hindering, but there is.
I agree with Harpua, but while Cap's LOF is basically just that a line to the target. I was thinking the power acted more like a pinball mechanism bouncing off one wall (terrain) to the next till it hits the target.
While Cap's LOF may run over some hindering terrain, will the deflection pinball like maneuvers of the shield run over the hindering. I know game mechanically this won't work, but in comic book fashion it seems thats how Cap's shield would work in this manner.

I have yet to run Cap and when I saw him being run against me, I One-Hit KO'd him with Drax, Perplex, and a Heavy...before either:
1) He opens a can of whoop-arse on me
or
2) Rules questions came up mid-game
So, for argument's sake, had he taken a bead on Adam Warlock, who was sitting in hindering but behind my allies, Cap could've fired through my dudes and hit up Adam, albeit at +1 to Defense?
Thanks in advance!

Right.
Captain America ignores nothing when drawing LOF, so the hindering terrain DV bonus still applies.

Best
Correct, but that doesnt make the shot any easier. Its still +1 to avoid the hindering terrain even if the perceived path of the shield is not going over it the LoF is.

Oh...so there's no hindering bonus for figures?!?!?
