I couldn't find any direct wording in the rulebook, so I want to be clear:
All characters on same elevation: Giants block lines-of-fire to other giants from all other characters.
But when characters are elevated, non-elevated giants do not block lines-of-fire to any other figure (including other giants).
I get this from the fact that it is explicitly figures that don't block LoF to giants, ergo a figure with the or does block LoF to other giants.
EDIT: wait, found what I was looking for. FF rules, page 12-13.
An otherwise clear line of fire between an elevated character and a grounded character is blocked by grounded blocking terrain, as well as giant characters and colossal characters (see p. 16); hindering terrain does not affect a line of fire drawn between an elevated character and a grounded character unless the target occupies a square of hindering terrain.
In other words, and block LOF even when the character trying to draw LOF is elevated.
Please note that I think that the giant/colossal rules were very poorly written out in the last rulebook.
IMO, the rulebook really needs to repeat certain information specifically when it comes to figures with the "non-standard" symbols. I'm thinking about the ability to be carried, TKed, knockback, ranged/close combat, etc.
YMMV, but I find it painful to have to jump between two (or more) sections to find the answers to questions involving those guys.

Thanks. I thought that there was something, but I couldn't find it.
Regardless, they're still poorly written. (There's almost nothing under the colossal rules for ranged comba, though they are supposed to be like the giants.)
