it doesn't work right?
i asked this on realms a couple months ago but on friday 2 people at my venue did it and the judge allowed it(he was 1 of those 2).
now i ask this so i can print the page and show him.....or apoligize for thinking he was wrong.
the bonus from indomitable says: + 2 but when they have 2 tokens.
technically, you could place shellhead on an indomitable figure, it just wouldn't get the bonus when it has 2 tokens - unless its indomitable gets outwitted or gets 'earthbounded' (through objects, etc) and regains the normal defense, then it will gain the bonus.

With outwit, the ABILITY is countered not the symbol. They would lose the no pushing damage ability but the still stays on the dial.
No rest until the great works of Anthony Edward Stark are in clix forms
Soon...his works will be realized... in 2013 the Hall of Armor in clix!
So yes you can assign Shellhead to a figure but it will give the figure absolutely no benefit whatsoever.
Tarnish
I don't even think you can assign them the feat. They don't meet the prerequisite. It would be like assigning someone a feat that says you need to have...charge for instance....and they never have charge. You couldn't assign it to them

The prereq for Shellhead are: Impervious, Invulnerability, or Toughness
It doesn't require that you have the indomitable symbol. But as it has been rules, you get no benefit from putting Shellhead on an Indomitable figure.
Your judge may be using some outdated rule ideas. I recently moved to a new town and the guys at the local venue were still using the PAC from eXplosion. The guys there all through a fit when I showed them there was a new one. FF starter new. Cut the judge some slack and then tell him " but yeah this is how it goes"
Gotcha! Thanks, even though I was going to say why assign it if does no good?
Maybe you're playing a sealed tournament that allows you to pick boosters from sets of your choice. And maybe you picked Armor Wars and Hammer of Thor. And maybe you pulled the common Thor (an indomitable flier with invulnerability and toughness) and a copy of Shellhead. And maybe your best build option has Thor and 10 points left over with nothing else to fill it. And maybe one of your opponents is using Collateral Damage and pulled an Aerial Baffler. Might as well throw the Shellhead on Thor in case he's caught inside the Aerial Baffler's range with two tokens... since he'd be Earthbound/Neutralized, he'd have the regular symbol instead of .

Where was this? In a cave? No internet? Xplosion was, what, 6 years ago?
Seriously, nobody ever got wind of the:
Danger Room starter?
Legion starter?
F4 starter?
Yep, some cave in the deep south...
