I am fairly new and don't know all the different team names out there apparently. I have learn what LAMPs, TK Nova Blast, Fill your team with all Oots batman, but i don't know what a SIF team is. IF its referring to the figure from HoT I don't see what she has to offer to be given the kinda rep I have seen thrown around the Realms.
Makes barriers indestructible - SIF with 2 barrier figures and a HSS means the whole army can hide behind an indestructible wall and plink you with HSS. Very lame, IMHO.

At least LAMPs had a cool theme, SIF doesn't seem fun at all, for either player.

In the original day of SIF teams, the goal was to do nothing but reinforce your Barriers and to win by underbuilding. The SIF "player" would bring a really underbuilt team and, since the old rules gave the win to the lowest-built team, the player who actually built close to the build limit had to try to figure out a way to get in the Barriers and cause some casualties.
Since then, the rules have changed, so that if there is a tie, you roll the dice to determine the winner. Nowadays, if I was going to face a double R Shazam + Barrier team, I would just stay on my side of the board. At least I'd have a 50% chance of winning the ONE die roll of the game (and therefore the game itself).
